DVD Copy Express has an easy-to-use interface that allows you to partially or entirely convert DVDs to MPEG1, MPEG2, or AVI video files. With its Copy wizard you can automatically detect the DVD drive or manually select the file to be copied (files supported: .ifo & .vob). Whichever option you choose, you can change both the video and audio parameters. The video parameters you can customize are the segment, angle, output frame rate (NTSC or PAL), and audio & video synchronization. The audio parameters you can customize are the language and volume. Also you can choose the subtitles, if available.
After setting up all the parameters you can convert the entire DVD or make a partial copy. If you choose to make a partial copy, you can select the range of the chapters to be copied or type the intended segment of time frames. Finally, you need to specify the target video format (formats supported: VCD, SVCD, and AVI). For AVI format you can select the video codec of your preference. Also you can select the width/height ratio, and volume limit. The total encoding time will depend on the video's duration.
